Michael Derry, LCSW-C

Michael Derry's practice includes individual, couples, and group therapy. He works with children, adolescents, and adults. Michael has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings since 1995.

Michael earned his MSW degree from the University of Maryland, School of Social Work with a concentration and specialization in clinical, mental health. He also holds a post graduate certificate in Child and Adolescent Treatment from the University of Maryland, and a post bachelors certificate in Chemical Dependency counseling. Michael is also a member of Baltimore County public school's Traumatic Loss team. Professional interests include the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy in treating depression, anxiety, addictions, and weight management. Michael hs been an avid white-water and sea kayaker for over 20 years and enjoys environmental conservation.
