
John R. Steinberg, M.D.
Dr. Steinberg is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, who graduated from the McDonogh School as a National Merit Honors Finalist. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Michigan State University with High Honors and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
After postgraduate work in Biochemistry, Dr. Steinberg received his M.D. from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine in 1981 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in 1984.
Dr. Steinberg held faculty appointments at the University of Maryland in the Department of Family Medicine and Psychiatry at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor from 1993 and 1986, respectively, through July 1, 2007 and continues to teach, upon occasion, as a volunteer faculty member. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on addictions and on other medical subjects.

Rates:
· Initial Assessment: $250.00
· Hourly: $225.00
· Forty-Five Minutes: $175.00
· Half Hour: $125.00
· Medication Management (15 Min.): $75.00
· Forensic/Expert Witness Services: $400.00/Hr., Ten Hour/$4000.00, non-refundable retainer required
· Group: $65.00 per session
